Homemade Cranberry Sauce

I love fresh cranberry sauce! This has the perfect tartness, texture, and hint of cinnamon, and citrus.

INGREDIENTS:

12 ounces fresh Cranberries

1/2 cup orange juice

1/2 cup water

1 cup sugar

1 cinnamon stick

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Add all ingredients to a medium sauce pan and heat on medium.
  2. Stir frequently until Cranberries begin to pop.
  3. Allow to cool completely while sauce thickens.
  4. Remove cinnamon stick.
  5. Transfer to a container.
  6. Enjoy while warm or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Hot Coco Chip Cookies

These cookies are perfect on a cool day when sipping hot cocoa, coffee, or milk. These have a mixture of milk chocolate and marshmallows creme chips.

INGREDIENTS:

2 sticks unsalted butter at room temperature

1 cup light brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

3 large eggs at room temperature

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1 cup chocolate protein powder

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 bags Hot Cocoa and Marshmallow Chips

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and line two baking sheets with Parchment paper.
  2. Beat butter and sugars in stand mixer until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix in until combined.
  4. Whisk dry ingredients: flour, protein powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to mixing on low. Scrape down edges of the bowl often.
  6. Add chips to mix.
  7. Use a medium scoop to form balls spread 2 inches apart on the cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes until cookies are just set.
  9. Allow cookies to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Store in an air tight container.
  11. Enjoy with milk, hot cocoa, or coffee.
