Orange Cranberry White Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies are mildly addicting! Once you eat one, you will want more and more.

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups all purpose flour

1/2 cup vanilla protein powder

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup light brown sugar

1 stick of unsalted butter at room temperature

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

2 eggs at room temperature

1/2 cup dried cranberries

1 bag white chocolate chip cookies

zest of one orange

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat butter and sugars in a stand mixer until soft and fluffy.
  3. Meanwhile soak cranberries in green or fruit flavored tea for a few minutes to moisten them.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract to the stand mixer.
  5. Whisk flour, protein powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and orange zest. Add the flour mixture to the stand mixer one half cup at a time.
  6. Add the white chocolate chips and cranberries and mix until combined.
  7. Use a small cookie scooper to form balls. Place on a baking sheet at least 1 1/2 inches apart.
  8. Bake 9 minutes. Allow to set on baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Store in an air tight container.
