Apple Cider Glazed Grilled Pork Chops
These glazed pork chops are tender, sweet, and just plain delicious!
Ingredients:
½ cup packed dark brown sugar divided
6 bone in pork chops
½ cup apple cider
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
3 cloves garlic minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger diced
1 medium onion sliced into ¼ inch slices
¼ cup salt
Directions:
- Whisk ¼ cup salt, ¼ cup brown sugar, and 3 cups warm water. Place the pork chops in a 9×13 dish. Pour the liquid over the pork. Let the pork sit in the brine for at least 10 minutes or even overnight.
- Mix the apple cider, vinegar, Worcestershire, ¼ cup brown sugar, garlic, and ginger and heat in a small saucepan until boiling. Reduce heat and allow to cook at medium for 15 minutes stirring often. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Preheat grill to high heat.
- Remove the pork chops from the brine.
- Cook pork chops for 5-7 minutes per side.
- Immediately spoon 1 tablespoon of glaze on each pork chop and allow pork chops to rest at least 5 minutes before slice.
- Grill onions for 5 minutes stirring once.
- Serve glazed pork chops with grilled onions.
