Basil Pesto
I had a plethora of basil growing in my herb garden, so I decided to make some fresh pesto. Pesto is so easy to make and tastes amazing on meat, sandwich wraps, as a veggie dip and so much more.
Ingredients:
3 cups fresh basil
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup pine nuts
2 garlic cloves minced
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to food processor. Pulse to mix. Add more olive oil if needed to reach desired consistency.
- Store in airtight container in the refrigerator.
