The Best Banana Bread
Banana bread can be great even without a ton of butter or added sugar. This recipe uses overripe bananas, honey, and a little brown sugar to create a bread you won’t be able to resist.

Ingredients:
4-5 medium overripe bananas
2 large eggs room temperature
1/3 cup applesauce
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a bread baking pan with baking spray or grease and dust with flour.
- Add bananas, applesauce, eggs, yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract to stand mixer. Mix on low to mash bananas.
- Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl- flour, protein powder, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg. Add to mixer 1 cup at a time. Mix until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake 60-70 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool on wire rack for at least 10 minutes.
- Remove bread from baking pan and let cool.
- Slice and store in an air tight container.
