Grilled Chicken Pizza
My kids would probably eat pizza every night if I let them. This pizza was made using a combination of ingredients in the fridge that all needed to be used up.
Ingredients:
1 chicken breast cut into cubes
1 tablespoon olive oil (I used a basil infused olive oil)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 refrigerated thin pizza crust
1 cup pizza sauce
Grated parmesan
Olive oil spray
1-2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups shredded mozzarella
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick spray.
- Roll out the dough on the baking sheet until dough is an even layer.
- Spray crust with olive oil spray. Sprinkle with garlic powder and grated parmesan.
- Bake crust for 5-7 minutes.
- Cook chicken. I grilled on my air fryer at 370 for 12 minutes you can also sauté over medium heat until done.
- Spread sauce over the crust to the edges.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the crust.
- Top with cooked chicken.
- Bake 10 more minutes.
- Optional: Add fresh basil, tomatoes, peppers, onions, etc…
- Cut into squares/slices and enjoy!
