Grilled Pork Chops with Pear Chutney
These pork chops topped with a pear chutney were absolutely delicious! This was so good I definitely will be making this again.
Recipe adapted from Food Network
Ingredients:
4 bone in pork chops
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon orange zest
Chutney-
½ shallot finely diced
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 cinnamon stick
½ cup fresh or frozen cranberries
¼ cup golden raisins
3 pears peeled, cored, and diced
1 tablespoon brown sugar optional
Directions:
- Drizzle the olive oil over the pork chops and rub into both sides. Sprinkle with orange zest and let sit at room temperature while the grill preheats.
- Preheat grill to high heat.
- Add pears, shallots, vinegar, ginger, curry powder, pears, cranberry, and cinnamon stick to a large microwavable safe bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and heat for 10 minutes.
- Remove plastic wrap and stir. Mix in raisins and 1 tablespoon brown sugar if you want it sweeter. Remove the cinnamon stick when ready to serve. Serve warm or cooled.
- Grill the chops for 3-5 minutes per side. Let chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Top grilled pork chops with pear chutney.
