Spicy Sautéed Swiss Chard

I bought Swiss chard for a recipe I was planning to make.  Then I completely forgot what the recipe was.  I didn’t want the Swiss chard to go bad, so after a little searching I found a recipe for spicy sauteed Swiss chard and decided to give it a shot.

Ingredients:

1 bunch Swiss chard stems removed leaves roughly chopped

2 tablespoons chicken or vegetable broth

Pinch crushed red pepper flakes

2 cloves garlic

Splash red wine

2 packets stevia

1 salt

Directions:

  1. Spray a nonstick pan with olive oil spray. 
  2. Add red pepper flakes and garlic.  Cook on medium 2 minutes.
  3. Add Swiss chard and toss quickly.
  4. Add splash of wine and cook until chard is wilted.
  5. Season with sugar and salt to taste.
  6. Enjoy!
