Chili Garlic Fries

I am always making potato wedges and fries using different combinations of ingredients.  These are simple to prepare and add a little spice to any meal.

Recipe adapted from Food Network

Ingredients:

2 russet potatoes cut into wedges

1-2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1-2 garlic cloves

Directions:

  1. Slice the potatoes and emerge in a bowl of cold water.  Drain and fill again with cold water.
  2. Transfer the potatoes to a medium bowl. 
  3. In a small bowl mix the olive oil, chili powder, and garlic. 
  4. Drizzle the mixture over the potatoes.  Shake the potatoes to coat all potatoes.
  5. Air Fry at 390 for 20 minutes shaking halfway through.
  6. Bake at 450 on a lined baking sheet for 30 minutes tossing the potatoes halfway through baking.
  7. Season with salt and pepper. 
  8. Enjoy!
