Apple Cider Pork Chops

These pork chops have a light sweetness that make for the perfect dinner.  I grilled these, but you could bake these to really let the glaze soak in. 

Recipe adapted from Food Network

Ingredients:

Apple Cider Glaze-

1 cup brown sugar

½ cup apple cider vinegar

Greek Seasoning Blend and Pork-

2 tablespoons dried oregano

2 tablespoons garlic powder

1 tablespoon dried thyme

1 tablespoon dried dill

1 tablespoon beef bouillon powder

Pinch of salt and pepper

4-6 pork chops

Directions:

Apple Cider Glaze-

  1. Combine the brown sugar, vinegar, and ½ cup water in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil stirring until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat and reserve.

Pork Chops-

  1. Preheat a grill to medium heat.
  2. Add oregano, garlic powder, thyme, dill, beef bouillon powder, salt, and pepper to a small bowl and mix. 
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the pork chops.  Sprinkle the seasoning on all sides of the meat.
  4. Grill pork chops 3 minutes per side.
  5. Remove from grill and add the glaze. Grill 2-3 more minutes per side.
  6. Add glaze before grilling second side.
  7. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing.
