Banana Mocha Energy Balls
Energy balls with a little espresso are sure to give you a boost. The protein from the almonds and hazelnuts helps to keep you going on busy days.
Ingredients:
1 cup old fashioned oats
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 scoop (3 tablespoons) powdered peanut butter
1 cup cocoa almonds
¼ cup hazelnuts
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1 tablespoon espresso powder
8 dates soaked in hot coffee drained
1 banana
¼ cup cocoa nibs
Directions:
- Add oats, protein powder, powdered peanut butter, flax seeds, espresso powder to food processor. Pulse to mix.
- Add banana and dates. Pulse to mix.
- Add almonds and hazelnuts. Pulse to mix.
- Add cocoa nibs. Pulse to mix.
- Use a cookie scooper or spoon to form balls.
- Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator until they disappear.
